Vote For Community Organizations To Receive A+ Gives Day $10,000 Donation

Vote daily to determine which five deserving local organizations will each receive a $2,000 donation on A+ Gives Day.

On October 14, A+FCU is hosting the third annual employee day of giving: A+ Gives Day. Over 500 local and non-local A+FCU employees will be volunteering at organizations throughout Central Texas and across the nation to support the credit union’s mission of building stronger communities through charitable activities.

To broaden the impact of this effort, A+FCU is once again inviting the community and organization supporters to vote daily to determine which five deserving local organizations will each receive a $2,000 donation on A+ Gives Day. Voting is open September 16 – September 29.

“We’re excited to invite the local community to participate in our A+ Gives Day initiative through daily voting. These votes will determine the five organizations that will each receive a $2,000 donation from us during our day of volunteering,” said Eric R. Kase, President/CEO of A+ Federal Credit Union. “A+ Gives Day is our favorite way to show the commitment we have to building stronger communities, and we know this effort is best served by engaging our team members, our partner organizations, our members, and the local community. Together, we’re better.”

In 2023, the A+ Gives Day online voting process generated over 4,750 votes from the community and a total of $10,000 in donations was awarded to the top-voted organizations through check presentations by A+FCU team members volunteering at each site.

A+ Gives Day is hosted each year as a tangible way to connect A+FCU team members with each other and the local community. A+FCU partners with organizations who help strengthen the community through park beautification, community outreach, supporting animal needs, and fighting food insecurity.

This year A+FCU is proud to be celebrating 75 years of making a difference in the communities where its members and employees work and live.

Voting is open from 12:01 am, September 16, 2024 through 11:59 pm, September 29, 2024. Voting eligibility: 18 years or older, live in the state of Texas, and have a valid email address. One vote per day.
