November 2023 - A+FCU was named as a winner in the Top Workplaces 2023 in Greater Austin awards presented by the Austin American-Statesman. The ranking is determine solely by employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey.
2023 Austin Community’s Choice Awards – Best Credit Union & Best Customer Service
September 2023 – A+FCU won the #1 spot in all five categories we were nominated in for the 2023 Austin Community's Choice Awards, including Best Credit Union, Best Customer Service, Best Eco Friendly/Green Business, Best Overall Leadership, and Best Employee Benefits Program.
Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Community Service Award - First Place Winner, Cornerstone Region
September 2023 - A+FCU won first place in the Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Community Service Awards presented by CUNA in recognition of credit unions' social responsibility and charitable projects. A+FCU was selected for our annual A+ Gives Day program.
Austin Gives Generous Business Awards Winner
August 2023 – Winner in the Community Leader category in recognition of doing an outstanding job of giving back to the Central Texas community.
Elbert K. Fretwell Outstanding Educator Award
March 2023 – A+FCU was awarded the 2023 Elbert K. Fretwell Outstanding Educator Award by the Boy Scouts of America Capitol Area Council. Award recognizes the A+FCU commitment to serve youth through the Personal Management Merit Badge, Green Apple, and other youth financial education programs.
Top Workplaces USA 2023 Winner
February 2023 – A+FCU was named a Top Workplace USA 2023 winner. This award celebrates nationally recognized companies that make the world a better place by prioritizing a people-centered culture and giving employees a voice. The Top Workplaces USA award is based entirely on feedback from an engagement survey completed by the employees of participating workplaces.

January 2023 (awarded) – A+FCU awarded the Best Bank/Credit Union Silver Award in the 2022 Best of Georgetown Contest.

2022 Bastrop County's Best Award Finalist – Best Mortgage Company & Best Financial Service Company
October 2022 – A+FCU was runner up in two categories in 2022 Bastrop County’s Best Awards for Best Mortgage Company and Best Financial Service Company.
2022 Best Of The Best Award Winner – Best Customer Service
September 2022 – A+FCU earned the top spot in the Austin American-Statesman 2022 Best of the Best awards for Best in Customer Service and was also honored as a top three nominee in the Best Credit Union category.
2022 APIE Business Champion Award
June 2022 – Austin Partners in Education (APIE) honored A+FCU with their 2022 APIE Business Champion Award which recognizes support provided to APIE and Austin ISD over the years including an ongoing dedication to AISD students.
2022 Best of the Best Award – Member Shoppers Experience & Consumer Lending Experience
March 2022 – A+FCU is once again a MembersXP Best of the Best award winner in 2022 in two key categories: Member Shoppers Experience and Consumer Lending Experience. The MemberXP Best of the Best designation is awarded to credit unions that consistently provide exceptional levels of member service during a calendar year.

December 2021 – Winner in the category that recognizes a company that contributes to Austin’s mental, financial, or physical health.
2021 Annual Greater Austin Business Awards
December 2021 – Company Culture Award recognizes companies that foster a creative, collaborative workplace culture. Community Relations Award honors organizations with a successful approach to corporate social responsibility.
Austin Chamber 2021 Business Champion Award
October 2021 – A+FCU won a 2021 Business Champion Award at the Austin Chamber of Commerce State of Education and Talent 2021 thanks to the nomination of the Pflugerville ISD administration. The award honors A+FCU's partnership in helping students gain job experience and financial literacy knowledge through collaborative programs.

September 2021 – A+FCU earned the top spot as the Best Mortgage Lender in the Austin area. A+FCU was also honored as a top three nominee in the Best Credit Union category in 2021.
Forbes’ Best-In-State Credit Unions for 2021
July 2021 – A+FCU again made Forbes’ list based on criteria such as satisfaction, trust, branch services, digital services, and financial advice. Of the 5,068 credit unions nationwide, just 3.6% made the list. A+FCU is one of only 5 credit unions featured on the list for Texas.

July 2021 – The Austin Gives Generous Business Awards recognizes outstanding individuals who are helping to forge the next generation of volunteer leaders in our community through their example, coaching, and willingness to work with others.

June 2021 – RecognizeGood’s Ethics in Business program illuminates businesses, individuals, and nonprofits across Central Texas who believe that doing good is good business.

Desjardins Youth and Adult Financial Education Award
September 2020 – CUNA created the Desjardins program to recognize leadership within the credit union movement on behalf of financial literacy for all ages.
Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Community Service Award
September 2020 – This award is given to a credit union or chapter/group for its social responsibility projects within the community.
Austin Gives Generous Business Awards Winner
July 2020 – The Austin Chamber recognizes organizations who pledged 1% of pre-tax earnings toward their community impact efforts.
Forbes’ Best-In-State Credit Unions for 2020
July 2020 – A+FCU made Forbes’ list based on criteria such as satisfaction, trust, branch services, digital services, and financial advice. Of the 5,236 credit unions nationwide, just 3.5% made the list.
