We’re grateful for our members who continue to help strengthen our credit union.

As we celebrated our 75th anniversary in 2024, we continued our focus on not only improving our services to better serve our members, but also to continue positively impacting the schools and districts we support as well as the community organizations we partner with.

Thanks to the loyalty of our members and community, we’ve been able to continue our efforts in donating time and funds to partners that support educators, community outreach programs, the fight against food insecurity, animal needs, and park beautification. While we’ve been honored with numerous awards and recognitions, the true success is seen in our community.

2024 Accomplishments

$2.73 Million In Cash-Back Checking Giveback

Since the program’s inception in 2010 through the end of 2024, members who have a free Cash-Back Checking Account and debit card have earned over $21.6 million in cash back on everyday purchases.

School Spirit Debit Card Program

Through our custom debit card program, we gave back over $207,880 to local schools and school districts, and gave just as much to the members who used these cards.

Start Earning

A+ Gives

We continued our A+ Gives program by supporting multiple organizations throughout the year. In addition to our ongoing volunteering, we hosted our third annual A+ Gives Day on October 14, 2024 as a way for our entire organization to spend the day doing good in the community. Over 490 A+FCU team members volunteered 1,611 hours at 40 Central Texas organizations and 24 additonal organizations across the nation.

Along with donating our time, we established a community voting process to award special A+ Gives Day donations totaling $10,000. With over 5,650 votes from community members, we awarded the five top-voted organizations with a $2,000 check on A+ Gives Day – congratulations to African American Youth Harvest Foundation, Ancora Ministries Feed Kids Right Now, Central Texas Table of Grace, ROCK Ride On Center For Kids, and Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center.

Community Support

Helping Our Community

In 2024, we donated over $887,900 to community partners, school support, sponsorships, and more. In addition to donating funds, Team A+ also volunteered 5,299 hours to chamber, education, and community events.

Supporting Education

As an institution created for and by educators, we’re committed to helping our communities thrive through education. Here’s what we were able to achieve:

322 Community Education events with 9,774 attendees
57 Scouts earned their Personal Management Merit Badge through our program
Awarded $150,000 in scholarships to 75 recipients
Over $108,400 in grants awarded to 87 area educators through the A+ Education Foundation
145 kids attended our free summer Youth Financial Camps

Members Helping Members

We appreciate our members’ support of our mission, banking on each other, and sharing the A+FCU love through our Refer A Friend program. We ended 2024 with over 187,700 members!
