A+ Federal Credit Union Wins 2021 Ethics In Business Award

We’ve been named as a winner of RecognizeGood’s 2021 Ethics in Business Awards in the Large Business category.

A+FCU has been named as a winner of RecognizeGood’s 2021 Ethics in Business Awards in the Large Business category.

“We’re so honored to be recognized as a winner of the 2021 Ethics in Business Awards,” Eric R. Kase, A+FCU President and CEO, said. “I think it’s amazing that even during challenging times, we stayed committed to serving our members with honesty and integrity, and banking on each other was what got us through together.”

A+FCU received an independent nomination from an individual in the local community. The selection process included an interview with Tricia Lewis, A+FCU’s SVP Human Resources, with highlights including team member involvement building out a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiative and how quickly employees were able to help members in need with the Winter Storm “Holiday” Line of Credit and Helping Hand Loans during and after Winter Storm Uri.

“It’s so exciting to see how much we evolved in 2020,” Lewis said. “It was an important year for us to focus on our employees and help our members.”

For 19 years, RecognizeGood®, an Austin-based 501(c)3 nonprofit, has highlighted businesses and individuals in the Central Texas area who make ethical business practices a regular part of their day-to-day work and lives.

“Doing the right thing and treating our members and employees with respect is just who we are,” Kase said. “It was important for us to build on that in the last year and I look forward to what we’ll accomplish in the future.”
