Adjustable-Rate Mortgage (ARM)

Looking for a lower rate? The adjustable-rate mortgage might be the right choice. Adjustable-rate mortgages have a fixed interest rate and fixed payment for an initial period of time (five years for a 5/5 and ten years for a 10/10). Once that time period is over, the rate is adjusted. This adjustment takes place every five or ten years after that for the life of the loan..
