We’re grateful for our members who continue to help strengthen our credit union.
Our commitment to making a positive impact on our members and the broader community led to a successful 2025. We received awards in recognition of our outstanding service to members, as well as our significant contributions in supporting our community partners.
The continued loyalty of our members and community enabled us to further support schools, students and educators, community outreach programs, the fight against food insecurity, animal needs, and park beautification. Our partners work hard, and we’re honored to have the opportunity to help them succeed.
2025 Accomplishments
$2.80 Million In Cash-Back Checking Giveback
Since the program’s inception in 2010 through the end of 2025, members who have a free Cash-Back Checking Account and debit card have earned over $24.4 million in cash back on everyday purchases.
School Spirit Debit Card Program
Through our custom debit card program, we gave back over $179,798 to local schools and school districts, and gave just as much to the members who used these cards.

- Connally High School (Pflugerville ISD) – $12,479.35
- Hendrickson High School (Pflugerville ISD) – $11,766.25
- Hutto ISD – $84,309.55
- Lake Travis ISD – $17,284.70
- Round Rock High School (Round Rock ISD) – $13,026.50
- San Marcos High School (San Marcos CISD) – $27,240.95
A+ Gives
We continued our A+ Gives program by supporting multiple organizations throughout the year. In addition to our ongoing volunteering, we hosted our fourth annual A+ Gives Day on October 13, 2025 as a way for our entire organization to spend the day doing good in the community. Over 490 A+FCU team members volunteered over 1,500 hours at 42 Central Texas organizations and 32 additional organizations across the nation.
Along with donating our time, we established a community voting process to award special A+ Gives Day donations totaling $10,000. With over 3,900 votes from community members, we awarded the five top-voted organizations with a $2,000 check on A+ Gives Day – congratulations to African American Youth Harvest Foundation, Ancora Ministries Feed Kids Right Now, HopeAustin, ROCK Ride On Center For Kids, and Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center.
Helping Our Community
In 2025, we gave $913,580 to community partners, schools, sponsorships, and more. In addition to monetary support, Team A+ also volunteered 6,225 hours to chamber, education, and community events.
Supporting Education
As an institution created for and by educators, we’re committed to helping our communities thrive through education. Here’s what we were able to achieve:
- 468 Financial Education events reaching 11,670 people
- 87 Scouts earned their Personal Management Merit Badge through our program
- Awarded $120,000 in scholarships to 60 recipients
- $84,476 in grants awarded to 63 area educators through the A+ Education Foundation
- 123 participants attended our free summer Youth Financial Camps
Members Helping Members
We appreciate our members’ support of our mission, banking on each other, and sharing the A+FCU love through our Refer A Friend program. We ended 2025 with 14,619 new members!
