A+ Federal Credit Union (A+FCU) has been named the winner of the Austin Young Chamber’s 12th Annual FAVE (Favorite Austin Venture or Enterprise) Awards in the FAVE Way to Keep Austin Healthy category. This award recognizes A+FCU as a leading company that contributes to Austin’s mental, financial, or physical health.

Research shows a direct connection between financial health and mental and physical health. With an ongoing commitment to serve the local community, A+FCU team members support financial wellness in a wide variety of ways including hosting webinars on topics such as getting out of debt and understanding credit, as well as partnering with local schools, districts, and community organizations to provide free financial education workshops on various topics throughout the year.

“We’re honored that the Austin Young Chamber selected A+ Federal Credit Union as the winner of the FAVE Way to Keep Austin Healthy award this year,” said Eric R. Kase, A+FCU President/CEO. “We’re proud to provide our members and the greater Austin community with valuable financial education programs, including our free youth programs. We believe teaching the younger generation healthy money management skills, such as budgeting, saving, and understanding credit, builds a solid foundation for their successful futures.”
