When you’re an A+FCU member, you’re also an owner with a say in your credit union. Joining is easy and comes with a wide variety of member-only benefits.
How to Join
Joining A+FCU is easy. In addition to partnerships with over 300 schools, districts, businesses, community organizations, and more, there are plenty of other ways to join.
- A family member is a current A+FCU member
- Make a one-time dues payment of $10 to the A+ Education Foundation (made when you open your account)
- You are a member, employee, or student of any of the organizations or businesses listed below:

Our PlusPoints program provides you with valuable reward points. You can earn points by doing things you’re probably already doing.
Ways You Can Earn Points
- Get 1 point for every $1 in interest paid on an A+FCU loan or A+FCU-maintained mortgage
- Get 1 point for every $1 in dividends earned on share accounts
- With Cash-Back Checking, earn 10 points for every signature-based transaction using your A+FCU debit card
- With Cash-Back Checking, earn 5 points for every PIN-based transaction using your A+FCU debit card

Buy down the rate on a new A+FCU loan:
- Use 2,500 PlusPoints to save 0.25%
- Use 5,000 PlusPoints to save 0.50%
- Maximum redemption value per eligible loan is 5,000 PlusPoints
Buy down the origination fee on a new A+FCU mortgage:
- Use 5,000 PlusPoints to save 0.25%
- Use 10,000 PlusPoints to save 0.50%
- Use 15,000 PlusPoints to save 0.75%
- Use 20,000 PlusPoints to save 1.00%
- Maximum redemption value per eligible loan is 20,000 PlusPoints
Buy up the rate on a share certificate or IRA certificate:
- Use 2,500 PlusPoints to increase dividend rate by 0.25%
- Maximum redemption value per eligible certificate is 2,500 PlusPoints

- Credited automatically by the tenth of each month or after each special promotion
- Can be transferred to the A+FCU membership of any immediate family member living within the same household

Become a Select Employee Group
A Select Employee Group (SEG) is a business, non-profit, school, or organization that works with A+FCU to enhance their employee benefits program at no cost. Through this partnership, all employees and their families become eligible to join A+FCU. Benefits of membership go beyond basic products and services and include:
