The A+ Education Foundation, a philanthropic arm of A+ Federal Credit Union (A+FCU), continues its commitment to education by awarding over $84,350 in grants to 64 Central Texas educators. With this year’s grants, the A+ Education Foundation has awarded over $1.1 million in grants since the program began in 2005.
“It is very exciting to be able to award these educators with grants to assist them with opening the new school year,” Georgia Johnson, A+ Education Foundation President, said. “They need our support more than ever as they find their ‘new normal’. The credit union was founded by a small group of teachers and honoring them with these grants for over a decade has been an exciting journey.”
