A+FCU Volunteers Over 1,500 Hours During Fourth Annual A+ Gives Day
A+FCU hosted its annual A+ Gives Day in which team members volunteered at organizations throughout the Central Texas community and beyond.

On Monday, October 13, 2025, A+FCU hosted its fourth annual A+ Gives Day in which over 490 team members volunteered more than 1,500 hours at 42 Central Texas organizations and 32 organizations across the nation.
A+ Gives Day is an expansion of the credit union’s ongoing A+ Gives program to show appreciation and support for the communities A+FCU serves. A+ Gives Day specifically focuses on organizations that help in four key areas: animal needs, community outreach, food insecurity, and park clean up.
Key highlights from this year’s A+ Gives Day:
- More than 490 employees volunteered
- Over 700 hours served with 25 local community outreach partners
- Over 330 hours served with eight local organizations supporting animal needs
- Over 230 hours served with six local organizations fighting food insecurity
- Over 60 hours served cleaning up local parks with three organizations
- Over 160 hours served with 32 organizations across the nation by 43 remote team members
- $10,000 donated to five top-voted non-profit organizations – each received a $2,000 donation based on over 3,900 community votes:
Each year, A+ Gives Day reminds us of the incredible power of community and the compassion of our A+ team members. Now in its fourth year, this initiative has become a cornerstone of our culture – uniting employees and non-profit partners in a shared mission to strengthen our communities. The hundreds of hours volunteered reflects our deep commitment to service and the belief that together, we can create lasting change.
– Eric Kase, A+FCU President/CEO
“Each year, A+ Gives Day reminds us of the incredible power of community and the compassion of our A+ team members,” said Eric R. Kase, President/CEO of A+ Federal Credit Union. “Now in its fourth year, this initiative has become a cornerstone of our culture – uniting employees and non-profit partners in a shared mission to strengthen our communities. The hundreds of hours volunteered reflects our deep commitment to service and the belief that together, we can create lasting change.”
A+FCU not only volunteered time but also donated $10,000 as part of the A+ Gives Day initiative after organizing a community voting process that generated over 3,900 votes from community members and partner organization supporters. On A+ Gives Day, the top five-voted organizations were each awarded a $2,000 check – congratulations to African American Youth Harvest Foundation, Ancora Ministries Feed Kids Right Now, HopeAustin, ROCK Ride On Center for Kids, and Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center.
“I want to thank A+ Federal Credit Union for including us in your community giveback for the generous $2,000 award. We are grateful to be one of the organizations recognized through your community voting process and for your continued commitment to give back,” said Kerrie Stannel, Chief Executive Officer of Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center. “I also want to extend our appreciation to your incredible team members who volunteered their time with us for A+ Gives Day. We look forward to our continued partnership and improving the lives of our community together.”
