Flexible, easy-to-use and easy-to-understand, our financial education programs acquaint children of all ages with financial planning concepts that apply to everyday life.

We select the programs we support and offer to educators based on their alignment with the Texas education standards.

Many of the curricula below can be accessed and downloaded for free online. Additionally, we can assist schools and community youth programs in the Credit Union’s field of membership get these materials for free. Contact the Community Education team for more information.

NEFE’s High School Financial Planning Program

The High School Financial Planning Program® (HSFPP) is a turnkey financial literacy program that focuses on basic personal finance skills. From the HSFPP website, educators can easily access lesson plans, order student materials, and view suggested activities and discussion topics. All materials are free for educators.

A+FCU can help educators order materials and provide information on Train-the-Trainer sessions offered in the area.

BizKid$ is an award-winning TV show that airs on PBS stations nationwide. The show and accompanying website focuses on fun and engaging financial lessons taught by kids, for kids.

Each episode includes free lesson plans, vocabulary, and activities for teachers, all accessible via the BizKid$ website. A+FCU can help educators access the DVD sets for their schools for free. Episodes and clips can also be accessed via the website, YouTube, and Hulu.
